Horseracing Wrongs

Horseracing Wrongs is a nonprofit in New York on a mission to put an end to the cruel and deadly industry that is horseracing.

Patrick came to us with his nonprofit website already filled with content. Literally thousands of blog posts, well organized into categories along with dozens of pages of data collected above horseracing.

We met with the client to discuss how we could improve the website’s effectiveness without hindering Patrick’s love for writing (he writes, often!) and without straying too far away from a minimalist approach to designing the website.

It was also important to get the big message across quickly, on especially on the pages that showcase just how damaging the industry is, as those content silo pages gain search visibility, are commonly shared, and referred to in their nonprofit marketing campaigns.
